Hello source code curious person from the Interwebs!
What you're doing is (in my opinion) the BEST way to learn and advance,
that is, viewing the source. It's how I learnt, and how I'm still learning.
So go ahead, dig away and ask any questions. Techniques used on this
site are all in the public domain, but the unique combination of CSS and
images are what make this site's design.
Please don't steal wholesale, thats all I'm saying.

Hi Jonathan--
I'm confused. Did you mean the source code in our boxes, when we're blogging or updating our profiles? And what message???
Sorry if this sounds overly stupid; i'm just starting out with this...
Love it!
I like finding snippets like that.
BTW: Love the Bus!
We talked motorcycles over dinner - do we need to meet and talk busses too?
Last December in my '72 - I wore the outfit everyday to the office - NOT!
I'm going to start putting more comments in my html.
Katie, yes it was a nice little surprise. I felt very connected to the page creator!
Catarina, this was a very "geeky" post and it should have had an explanation. It was the page source for a web page. If you right click on a web page you can see the pages source code.
Mike, I am glad you like it! I spent a good amount of time designing the header yesterday. I have never owned a vw bus, but would like to at some point. The closest I ever came was a 1972 Chevy Blazer with the back seats ripped out and amattress put in their place.
This reminded me of this find a few weeks ago when trying to figure out wtf these people were thinking, design wise:
When I sold my bus to a kid in Redmond his mom said "I don't believe I'm allowing my son to get a car with a bed in it"
Christine, :) I wouldn't worry about it. It wasn't important.
Ben, What a crazy site... What a crazy city. - Let me tell you, that mom made a bad freakin' decision...
Karen, Yeah I thought it was cute.
I see you don't own a VW bus - just as well. I like that yellow thing!
reminds me of the secret decoder ring I used to get as a kid inside the box of lucky charms. I see they still are making them both! LOL!~ This was great Jon, thanks! I added a secret message for those who view my source code, I got the idea from one of Mikey Muellers posts a while back! :-))
<Object and Point> This Code when copied <H T M L> and placed on any Webpage <p>Will cause your hard drive <%&/> to fail permanently</a> <End Object and Point> Don't believe me? Just try it and see!! <end>
I had to remove it because if someone's hard drive actually crashed after visiting my source code, I didn't want to have any evidence left behind for possible liability! haha! :-)
